Two Cent Bridge will be open for Taste of Greater Waterville
City Engineer Greg Brown said Tuesday that the contractor working on bridge repairs had completed wind cable work. A "Bridge Closed" sign and blockade at the bridge's entrances, visible on Tuesday, is supposed to be removed by today.

Skowhegan woman charged with assaulting police officer
Brittany L. Bickford, 35, was arrested on charges of assaulting a police officer, refusing to submit to arrest and failure to give information to police. She was released later on $360 cash bail from the Somerset County Jail in East Madison.
