GLOUCESTER, Mass. — Shannon Finnegan and Benjamin Baumann were married July 2, 2011, at St. Anthony by the Sea in Gloucester, Mass.
The bride is the daughter of John and Nancy Finnegan of Augusta, Maine. The bridegroom is the son of Dr. Billy and Rachel Baumann of Bloomfield Hills, Mich.
Bridesmaids were Shannon Grady, Courtney Beer, Elizabeth Finnegan, Alexandra Finnegan and Rebecca Baumann. Groomsmen were Matthew Baumann, Michael Wagg, Peter Kim, Michael McNinch and Scott Bowman.
A reception was held at Castle Hill on the Crane Estate in Ipswich, Mass.
The bride is a 1998 graduate of Cony High School, a 2002 graduate of Boston College and a 2006 graduate of the London School of Economics. She is employed by BiogenIdec in Weston, Mass. as Associate Director, Global Strategic Pricing.
The bridegroom is a 1996 graduate of Andover High School in Bloomfield Hills, Mich., and a 2000 graduate of Harvard University. He is a co-founder and managing director of two technology companies in Waltham, Mass.: Isovera, Inc. and Open Clinica, LLC.
The couple took a honeymoon trip to Italy, visiting Capri, Tuscany and Lake Maggiore. They reside in Sudbury, Mass. with their two dogs, Reed and Angie.
