WATERVILLE — Rock ‘n Roll ‘n Stroll’n, an open house event, is set for 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 6, at the Quarry Road Recreation Area.

This family event will be held in celebration of the opening of the new trails.

The Central Maine New England Mountain Bike Association will sponsor a bike maintenance clinic at 9 a.m. and will begin bike tours at 10 a.m. to accommodate three levels of ability.

The Central Maine Ski Club and Colby Outing Club will assist with walking tours and group runs on various trails.

A kid-friendly obstacle course will be available to younger children throughout the day.

Live music, mountain bike trivia, and a barbecue will begin at 12:30 p.m. Suggested donations of $10 for adults will help support your trails.

Other community assistance to organize and present this event comes from Waterville Parks and Recreation, Inland Hospital, Mathieu’s Cycle and Fitness, Auclair’s Cycle and Ski.
