WINSLOW — Katrina Zemrak of Winslow recently won a Film Scoring Award at the Cleveland International Indie Gathering in Ohio. There were more than 400 entrants from around the world in the Film Scoring category, in which she placed in the top 15. This was the first time Zemrak participated in a film scoring competition.

Zemrak also worked on a film project this summer in central Maine, called “Dark Minds,” which will be distributed world-wide. Her website is katrinazemrak.com.

Zemrak is a Winslow High School graduate and is a sophomore at Columbia College Chicago studying music composition. She is the daughter of Brian and Cathy Zemrak.
