GARDINER — Richard and Gail Manelick of Gardiner celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Aug. 5, 2012 with a gathering of family and friends at the China Dine-ah.
Mr. Manelick and the former Gail Maynard were married on Sept. 22, 1962 in Gardiner at the Universalist Church.
The couple are lifelong Gardiner residents. Dick was employed by Bath Iron Works and the Gardiner School Department until his retirement. Gail was a homemaker.
The party was hosted by their daughter Wendy Bell of St. Albans, Vt. and their son Kurt Manelick and his wife Lisa of China, as well as their granddaughter Cordelia Bell.
They are planning a trip to the Moosehead Lake region to celebrate their anniversary.
