Grief support will be offered in Skowhegan
SKOWHEGAN — Hospice Volunteers of Somerset County, Inc. will offer several grief support groups beginning Wednesday at its office at 41 Main St. There is no cost to attend and all meetings are confidential. Each group will meet for 6-8 sessions.
Starks woman homeless after candles start house fire
STARKS — A fire started from unattended candles destroyed a house on Chicken Street early Sunday, leaving a woman and her pets homeless, according to Fire Chief Julie Costigan.
