I want to tell you why I’m so pleased to see Democrat Patsy Crockett running to represent House District 57, part of Augusta, in the Legislature.
I have known Crockett for many years and have worked with her on a number of issues important to our community.
I worked with Crockett to help bring the Augusta Crossing project to the city. I saw how hard she worked to help Augusta expand its tax base and, most importantly, to bring jobs to our area.
I know when it comes to looking out for our community and helping to protect our citizens, Crockett has always worked hard, and she gets the job done.
During these difficult economic times, we need people in the Legislature with a proven record of results. Crockett is that person.
