WINTHROP — The America Legion Post 40 will host a home buyer’s seminar for veterans at 6:30 p.m. Monday, Oct. 15, at the Legion Hall on Bowdoin Street.
Featuring the Department of Veterans Affairs Loan Guaranty Service, Home Loan Program, topics of the seminar will include: obtaining a Certification of Eligibility; types and features of loans; the process of buying a home; available rates, associated costs and more.
The seminar is free and all veterans are welcome. Refreshments will be served.
