I am very pleased to support the candidacy of Republican Darrick Banda for district attorney of Kennebec and Somerset counties.
During my tenure as an assistant district attorney for the district, he and I collaborated in the prosecution and trials of numerous criminal matters.
Banda possesses the necessary qualities that make him the superior candidate in the November election. Specifically, he has unwavering loyalty to the office, exemplary trial skills, efficient docket management and the ability to appreciate and balance the pursuit of justice on behalf of the public and victims of crime with a unique sense of fairness to all defendants.
Banda is highly respected by his peers in the private and public sectors, law enforcement and the citizens whose welfare he will zealously and aggressively protect as the next district attorney for Kennebec and Somerset. He deserves to be elected.
