WATERVILLE — Mid-Maine Regional Adult Community Education and Lawrence Adult Education will host a bus trip to Boston to see Broadway musical “Memphis” Saturday, Dec. 15, at the Colonial Theater.

WINSLOW — St. John Regional Catholic School students in grades 2-6 recently joined thousands of students throughout the country, challenging each other’s math skills in real time. They competed in games of speed and skill and were faced with many challenges across 10 levels.

WATERVILLE — Beginning Monday, Nov. 5, the Humane Society — Waterville Area, 100 Webb Road, will change its hours. The shelter will be open 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday and 8-11 a.m. Saturday. Animal visiting hours are noon-5 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday. The doors will be locked and phones calls will not be taken outside of these hours.

SKOWHEGAN — New Hope Women’s Shelter fundraiser featuring magician Conjuring Carroll will begin at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 17, at T&B Celebration Center. Special guest speakers and a silent auction will be featured.

VASSALBORO — A public rabies clinic is set for 10-11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 3, at the North Vassalboro Fire Station.
