AUGUSTA — Norman and Beatrice Tondreau of Augusta celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on October 6, 2012. They were married October 6, 1962, at St. Augustine Church in Augusta.

Bea and Norman celebrated their anniversary with a party hosted by their children. A buffet was served as well as hors d’oeuvres that were served by the grandchildren.

They also celebrated at one of their favorite resorts at Anchorage by the Sea in Ogunquit, a gift sent from heaven.

Norman retired in 2010 after working at Calumet Club as a chef. Bea is working at Maine Housing.

The couple has three daughters: Lisa and husband Tom Beeckel of Augusta, Tina and husband Charles Partridge III of Augusta, and Marcia and husband Richard Pouliot of Manchester; six grandchildren: Andrea Beeckel and husband Jonathan Avery of Windsor, Stephanie Beeckel, John Beeckel, Charlie Partridge, Sydney Partridge of Augusta, and Leah Pouliot of Manchester.

Guests attended from Maine, New Hampshire and California.
