WATERVILLE — Perley and Suzanne Beane of Waterville celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary September 1, 2012, with a trip to Las Vegas.
Perley G. and the former Suzanne D. Hart were married September 1, 1962, at the former Notre Dame Catholic Church on Water Street in Waterville. Rev. Louis Berube performed the ceremony.
Mrs. Beane worked for her father at Hart’s Tailor Shop, and later at CF Hathaway.
Mr. Beane was a former educator, then provided housing and community development at local, state and federal levels. He is currently serving on the board of directors for Seton Village and Lakewood Continuing Care Center.
