DETROIT — A Troy man was killed Wednesday night when he was ejected from his car during an accident on Troy Road.
John C. Klein, 48, was driving his 2002 Chevrolet Cavalier about 6:15 p.m. when he apparently lost control on a curve, Detective Lt. Carl E. Gottardi II, of the Somerset County Sheriff’s Department, said Thursday.
The car rolled over several times after it left the road, and at some point Klein was ejected, Gottardi said. Klein was alone in the car at the time and no other vehicle was involved. Klein was pronounced dead at the scene, according to Gottardi.
The car was destroyed in the accident.
The accident is still under investigation, and it appears that speed may be a factor, Gottardi said.
