MONMOUTH — A duo quilting class — Basic Log Cabin and Bears In The Woods — will take place Jan. 15 through May 14 at Packard Activity Center.
Students who have never made a log cabin patterned quilt are encouraged to participate in the Basic Log Cabin class. Participants will need to purchase Eleanor Burn’s Quilt In A Day Log Cabin book for $15.
Bears In The Woods is offered to experienced quilters who can follow an intermediate to advanced pattern. Quilt blocks include log cabin, bear paw, evergreen trees and flying geese in six-inch or 12-inch blocks. Students will need to purchase Eleanor Burn’s Quilt In A Day Bears In The Woods book for $18.
The cost is $40. Classes will take place 5-7 p.m. on Tuesdays. Coffee and tea will be served.
