Dancing lessons to be offered in January
WATERVILLE — Central Maine Squares will offer two free beginner lessons in January. The lessons will be from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 8 and 15, at the Waterville Junior High School, 100 West River Road.

WILTON — Wilson Grange Passport Dinner will begin at 6 p.m. Friday. The dinner will have a German theme. A traditional holiday meal for Bavaria, Germany, will be served. Cost $12 per person.

Oakland library holds holiday book sale
OAKLAND — The Oakland Public Library will host its holiday book sale through Friday, Jan. 4, at the Library. There are many books in like-new condition priced at half the original price.
Area business collects donations for cat/dogs
WATERVILLE — Aristo Hair Design will collect items for area humane societies. Items needed are: cat food (canned and dry), cleaning supplies (laundry soap, paper towels, bleach and dish soap), unscented baby wipes, and dog and cat toys.
