Vendors wanted for white elephant sale
WATERVILLE — Organizers of a white elephant sale have rent space to crafters and vendors. The sale will take place from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 11, at the Blessed Hope Church, Family Life Center.
Embden gets new signs
EMBDEN — The Embden Historical Society’s Special Fund Committee recently facilitated the acquisition of seven new welcome signs. The signs were installed in November by Jim Lightbody Sr. and were designed by Gary York of York Signs. Each sign features a picture of the Embden Town House, built in 1849.
Move and Improve program begins Feb. 1
WATERVILLE — The free Move and Improve program will begin Wednesday, Feb. 1, with site coordinator training and will run for 12 weeks through March 4 at Inland Hospital. The program offers ideas, support and encouragement for people to become more physically active.
