Winners, losers seen from new Maine health insurance law
Lisa Burton, who owns Reel Pizza Cinerama in Bar Harbor with her husband, saw her health insurance rate jump 67 percent this year. That's on top of a 35 percent increase last year. In two years, premiums to cover her three full-time employees have doubled.

Fall music series begins Sept. 15 at Lithgow Public Library

H.S. FOOTBALL GAME OF THE WEEK: Waterville hopes to finally beat Gardiner
It started in 2005, the year both Gardiner and Waterville joined the Pine Tree Conference Class B division. Gardiner took a 27-25 win over Waterville that season, and each season since, the Tigers have defeated the Purple Panthers.
