FAIRFIELD — Eugene and Vera Bickford celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary Aug. 5, 2012, with a party at their daughter and son-in-law’s home in Sidney.
Mr. Bickford and the former Vera Bolduc were married Aug. 5, 1972, at St. John Church in Winslow by Father Gene LaVerdiere.
Mrs. Bickford is a self-employed cosmetologist.
Mr. Bickford is employed by Huhtamaki of Waterville.
The couple have one daughter, Kim and her husband, Brian Lambert, and two grandchildren, Carter Eugene Lambert and Jordan Simone Lambert.
Guests attended from Waterville, Sidney, China, Winslow, Troy and Fairfield, Maine and also from Virginia.
