UNITY — Darian Nadeau has been named to the fall 2012 semester honor’s list at Unity College.

Nadeau is a first-year student majoring in conservation law enforcement. He is the son of Helen DeBlois of Winthrop and Gary Nadeau of Monmouth.

Mohney graduates from Wesleyan University

MIDDLETOWN, Conn. — Emma K. Mohney of Gardiner, Maine, has graduated from Wesleyan University in Middletown with a bachelor’s degree in English and French studies.

Mohney was initiated into Phi Beta Kappa, and was awarded the Camp Prize as the outstanding senior English major, and the Mann Prize for excellence in Romance Languages. A 2008 graduate of Gardiner Area High School, she is currently the Wesleyan University Ford Fellow for the 2012-13 academic year.

She is the daughter of Kirk and Melanie Mohney.

French to participate in policy program

ELLSWORTH — Al French, a student at the University of Maine at Augusta, will participate in the Maine Community Foundation’s Maine Policy Scholars program 2012-13 class.

French will pursue a year-long program of applied research in the area of Maine public policy.
