HALLOWELL — Richard and Jean Hayes celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on Nov. 22, 2012, at the home of their daughter, Ashley Hayes.
Mr. Hayes and the former Jean Marson were married Oct. 25, 1952, at St. Mark’s Church in Augusta.
Mrs. Hayes retired from School Administrative District 16.
Mr. Hayes retired from Camp Keyes and the U.S. Army.
The couple have four children: Sam and his wife Carrie, of Bath; Sandra and her husband Ken, of Brunswick; Andrew and his wife Ivette, of Maryland; and Ashley and Lisa, of Peru; four grandchildren: Courtney, of Hallowell; Acadia, of Brunswick; Sophia and Cameron, of Maryland; and one great-grandson: Cole Allen, of Hallowell.
Guests attended from Maine and Maryland.
