FARMINGTON — Maurice (Bud) Martin, University of Maine in Farmington associate professor of community health education, was recently named deputy editor of Health Promotion Practice, a leading professional journal in the field of community health.

A peer-reviewed bi-monthly journal, Health Promotion Practice is devoted to the practical application of health promotion and education.

Martin’s role will include working with the journal’s national editorial board, managing supplemental publications and assisting with the publication’s mission.
