NEWPORT — Regional School Unit 19 announces the proposed timeline for the third and final loan attempt vote this year, according to a press release.
* Regional public budget meeting, 7 p.m. Monday at Nokomis Regional High School.
* Regional public meeting, 7 p.m. Tuesday at Corinna Elementary School.
* Regional public meeting, 6:30 p.m. Wednesday at Palmyra Community Center.
* Regional public meeting, 7 p.m. Monday, March 4, Hartland Consolidated School.
* Regional public budget meeting, 7 p.m. Tuesday, March 5, Etna-Dixmont School.
* Regional validation referendum voting, 8 a.m.-8 p.m. Friday, March 8, at each town’s voting poll.
If necessary, shut down will either take place Friday, March 15, through Monday, April 15, for a total of 18 student days, or Monday, March 25, through Friday, April 19, for a total of 14 student days. In either case, the school year will end Wednesday, July 3. The June staff workshop would be rescheduled to Monday, July 8, or arranged otherwise with the Teachers’ Association.
