WATERVILLE — A potluck dinner will be held from 4 to 7 p.m. Saturday to benefit 4-year-old Zachary Korbet, who was diagnosed in January with leukemia.
The event, to help pay for the next three years of his treatment, will be held at the American Legion at 21 College Ave., according to Karen Francis, a family friend who helped organize the event.
The band Square Change will perform, and a silent auction will be held. Waterville fire and police officials and Delta Ambulance employees plan to attend.
Donations are accepted at the door, as well as at Bank of Maine on Kennedy Memorial Drive and Main Street. Zachary plans to be at the dinner and cannot be exposed to sickness, so anyone who has any signs of illness is asked to donate to Bank of Maine instead of attending the event.
For more information, contact Zachary’s mother, Angelic Korbet, by Facebook or [email protected]
