FAIRFIELD — Kennebec Valley Community College will hold an open house March 21 featuring campus tours, financial aid guidance, program information and more.

The free event will be held 4-6 p.m. in the King Hall Campus Center and will include refreshments, according to a news release.

“This event offers a perfect opportunity for anyone interested in KVCC to come and see what the College has to offer, ask questions, and meet many of the faculty and staff,” Dean of Students Karen Normandin said in the release. “The open house is a great way to explore options for enrolling in our upcoming summer and fall 2013 semesters.”

Special workshops on financial aid and career opportunities will be available. Classrooms and laboratories on the campus will be open for viewing. The application fee will be waived for all those attending the open house.

Participants can learn about programs being offered this summer and fall and ask questions about them. Potential students can also explore the many opportunities to transfer credits earned at KVCC to four-year colleges and universities.
