SKOWHEGAN — The Skowhegan Free Public Library will host the following April activities:
* Gardening with the Pros — Topic: “Vegetables,” will begin at 7 p.m. today.
* Gardening with the Pros — Topic: “Flowers — Annuals and Perennials” is set for 7 p.m. Wednesday, April 10.
* Socrates Café Discussion Group will meet from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, April 13.
* Maine Poet Laureate Wes McNair will be featured at 7 p.m. Tuesday, April 16.
* Gardening with the Pros — Topic: “Fruits and Berries” will begin at 7 p.m. Wednesday, April 17.
* A free jazz concert is set for 7 p.m. Thursday, April 18.
* Student Art Show will be featured from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, April 20.
* History House Program “The Good Old Days — Young Lives in the Civil War” is planned for 7 p.m. Wednesday, April 24.
