ROCKPORT — Kristen Boucher and Ashwin Anand were married Aug. 18, 2012, at the Samoset Resort in Rockport.
The bride is the daughter of Raymond and Katherine Boucher of Augusta. The groom is the son of Dr. Krish and Vasu Anand of San Jose, Calif.
Chantel Boucher was maid of honor. Bridesmaids Brianne Boucher, Jaclyn Milne, Olivia Rancourt and Madelyn Rancourt. Ella Coull was the flower girl.
Michael LeBaron was best man. Ushers were Abhi Anand, Ravi Mehta, Kayvan Hazemi and Dirk Daza. Liam Coull was the ring bearer.
A reception was held at the Samoset Resort.
Mrs. Anand is a 2004 graduate of Cony High School, Augusta; earned a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering at McGill University; and a master’s in Electrical Engineering at Stanford University. She is a Ph.D. candidate in Electrical Engineering at Stanford University, Stanford, Calif.
Mr. Anand earned a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering at the University of California, Irvine; a Juris Doctor at the University of the Pacific; and is currently obtaining his Master of Laws in Intellectual Property at the University of California, Berkeley.
The couple honeymooned in Maui, Hawaii and live in Redwood City, Calif.
