FARMINGTON — A pricing products and services for profit workshop is set for 6-9 p.m. Tuesday at the UMaine Cooperative Extension Franklin County Office, 138 Pleasant St.

The class fee is $15. Pre-registration and pre-payment is required. Today is the deadline to register for this workshop.

One key to business success is setting a profitable price for your product or service. This workshop will help owners of start-up and existing businesses develop a profitable pricing strategy. Practical case studies will be used to demonstrate various pricing methods.

The workshop will provide an overview of what is involved in successfully developing a pricing strategy. The highlights will include: what is profit?, what is my market willing to pay? and record keeping for developing prices.

UMaine Cooperative Extension’s Dr. James C. McConnon, Economics and Small Business Specialist, will be the key presenter.
