MOUNT DESERT — Maine game wardens plan to resume a search for a missing Seal Cove man after his companion’s body was recovered from Long Pond on Mount Desert Island.

The search for 38-year-old Corey Farley is set to continue Friday morning. Wardens say his companion, 67-year-old Richard Weimer of Charlton, Mass., was found dead in the water Thursday afternoon.

The two men were fishing and were last seen on the pond Wednesday afternoon. Their small boat was found overturned Thursday afternoon.

Wardens used aircraft, boats and a dive team to look for Farley and Weimer, and were joined by members of the Mount Desert search and rescue team.
