BOSTON — Boston police say the bus terminal section of South Station was evacuated and reopened after an unattended bag was checked.

The Boston Police Department’s bomb squad was dispatched to the station shortly after 11 a.m. Saturday and cleared the scene.

The Boston Globe reports that the station was evacuated for less than 30 minutes.
