AUGUSTA — A book sale and bake sale, sponsored by the Friends of Lithgow Library, will be held Thursday, Friday and Saturday in the Reading Room of Lithgow Public Library, 45 Winthrop St.
The book sale hours are 9 a.m.-7 p.m. Thursday; 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Friday; and 9 a.m.-noon Saturday. The bake sale will be held Thursday and Friday during the book sale hours.
There will be raffles to benefit the Friends of Lithgow Library’s Capital Campaign. Prizes include a library-themed quilt handmade and donated by Jenifer Harrington; handmade pottery donated by Maple Lane Pottery; and “Enjoy a Book” and “Fun for Families” gift baskets donated by library staff. There will also be a 50-50 raffle. Tickets are for sale at the library’s circulation desks in Adult Services and Youth Services until Saturday. All proceeds will benefit the library.
