MANCHESTER — Dragonfly Oriental Medicine, 964 Western Ave., Suite 2, will hold an open house from 2 to 8 p.m. May 17.
Owner Brett VanCott will answer questions about acupuncture, Chinese herbs, cupping, or moxa. Singer Katie Dagget will provide entertainment until 5 p.m. Jon Berry, licensed massage therapist, will give free chair massages. All are welcome.
VanCott is a licensed acupuncturist who has practiced in Hallowell for the past 12 years. VanCott has an undergraduate degree in biochemistry, a master’s degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine and has studied German Auricular Medicine (ear acupuncture). She also recently added the cosmetic procedure Mei Zen Cosmetic Acupuncture to her repertoire. The business also offers a full Chinese herbal pharmacy.
