Dan Boyd, left, and his son, Gary, ride through Vassalboro Thursday with a pair of steeds during their nationwide tour of the United States on horseback. The riders have crossed several southern states since their journey commenced in September of 2012 and hope to cover the eastern seaboard this year. "The Lord put it in my heart," Dan Boyd, a pastor from Kansas, said. "We plan to preach on the way."
