WINSLOW — Garland Road Small Animal Hospital staff members will team up with RedRover, a national nonprofit animal protection organization, to present a “My Dog Is Cool” action day from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday at the Central Maine Pet Expo at the Fort Halifax Park.
The “My Dog Is Cool” event is designed to educate the community about the dangers of leaving pets in vehicles on warm days. There will be demonstrations, informational fliers, bumper stickers and more.
The Central Maine Pet Expo is sponsored by Townsquare Media, 92 Moose and B98.5 FM.
