MANCHESTER — Lakeside Orchards will host its second annual Reggae Fest on Saturday, July 20.

A dinner featuring Jamaican cuisine will be cooked by native Jamaicans, under the supervision of Altamont “King” King, the lead farmer at the orchard. Curried goat, jerk chicken, rice and peas, cole slaw, salad, dinner rolls and apple crisp with ice cream will be served, in addition to snacks prior to the dinner. Attendees should bring their own beverages.

Music will be provided by Maine’s Stream Reggae Band.

Gates open at 5 p.m. for dinner and at 6:30 p.m. for the show. Dinner will be served at 6 p.m. and the band will start at about 7 p.m. The festival will be held rain or shine — in the event of rain, activities will take place under tents.

Tickets cost $30 for dinner and the show or $10 for the show only and can be purchased at the Lakeside Orchards store, 318 Readfield Road on Route 17. For more information, call 622-2479 or by email lakesideorchards@gmail.com.
