CONWAY, N.H. – New Hampshire State Police say a man has drowned in the Saco River in Conway.

Police say three people had jumped more than 30 feet from a railroad trestle into the river to swim on Saturday afternoon when one of them did not resurface.

Police say about 15 minutes later the 30-old-male was recovered from the water.

Police say CPR was performed on him and he was taken the hospital where he was pronounced dead.

The man’s name is being withheld until family is notified.
