BENTON — Madison Morin recently was selected by Discover Girls Magazine to represent Maine during a weeklong summit in the San Francisco Bay area.
Discovery Girls Magazine is an award-winning magazine that gives girls ages 8 and older, encouragement, and inspiration they need to navigate those difficult preteen years.
Madison will assist in writing articles for upcoming issues. In addition, she will appear in photo shoots and possibly on the cover, according to a news release.
Madison will work with 35 other girls from all around the country.
Her hobbies include biking, playing sports, canoeing or leading a playground cleanup. She recently served on the planning board our town’s Annual Benton Alewife Festival, and she is active in Hardy Girls Healthy Woman.
