Blood drive set for Tuesday in Palmyra
PALMYRA — The Sebasticook Family Doctors, Millennium Bridal and Conference Center, at 416 Oxbow Road, will conduct a Red Cross Blood Drive from 1 to 6 p.m. Tuesday.

Rabideau wins magazine competition
VASSALBORO — Kai Rabideau, 11, earned honorable mention in the March 2013 Cricket League Art Competition. For this contest, each entrant was asked to submit original artwork inspired by the sea.
Tardif earns scholarships, awards
PORTLAND — Lucie Tardif, of Portland, a media studies student and history minor at the University of Southern Maine, was awarded the Phi Theta Kappa Scholarship, the Gorman Scholarship, the Osher Reentry Scholarship and was inducted into the Golden Key International Honor Society during the 2012-13 academic year. She also has been awarded the Chris/Alice Endowment for the 2013-14 academic year.
