MANCHESTER — The Planning Board meets Tuesday to review proposals for three unrelated construction projects near Cobbossee Lake.

All three projects would be conditional uses in the Shoreland District.

Karen Melecha has proposed to expand and rebuild an existing deck near the lake at 35 Williamson Road. The project would expand a non-conforming structure, according to Paul Mitnick, code enforcement officer.

John and Marcia Duval have proposed to build a new garage near the lake, at 4 Creek Lane.

And Brian Root has proposed to build an eight-by-12-foot shed adjacent to the lake at 117 Williamson Road.

The Planning Board is scheduled to visit Melecha’s property, with board members meeting at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Manchester Town Office before they head to the site.

The board will then convene at the Town Office at 6:30 p.m. to review all three projects.

Planners are also scheduled to hold a public hearing and continue their review of Jason Black’s proposal to move his existing motor vehicle repair and sales business, JMB Industries, from Summerhaven Road to 321 Scribner Hill Road.
