READFIELD — Bethany Kessler Doyle and Shawn Arthur Wells, both of Readfield, have announced their engagement.
Bethany earned a bachelor of arts degree and a master of education degree from Boston College. Shawn is a graduate of Winthrop High School and is in the U.S. Marine Corps. He is a welder at Bath Iron Works, Bath.
A September 10, 2013, wedding is planned in Negril Jamaica at Sandals Resort.
