BANGOR — Ashley Mathieu of Vassalboro was awarded a doctor of pharmacy degree from Husson University’s School of Pharmacy.

Mathieu is a member of the Phi Lambda Sigma-Delta Delta, Pharmacy Leadership Society and a member of the National Community Pharmacists Association. She is employed as a graduate intern by Mount Desert Island Hospital in Bar Harbor. She is the daughter of Carl and Sandra Mathieu of Vassalboro.

Mathieu was among 45 students receiving a doctorate degree in the inagural class for the School of Pharmacy at Husson.
