FARMINGTON — The Healthy Community Coalition of Greater Franklin County recently announced that the staff will provide outreach services at the Farmington Fair, Sunday through Sept. 21, according to a press release. Look for the mobile health unit, near the High Street entrance. The hours are 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Medical providers will join HCC staff to offer one-on-one health counseling and screenings. Participating providers include Rebecca Sylvester, Molly Clark, Susan Eastler, Dr. Michael Rowland and Dr. Shamila Das-Watley.
HCC, in collaboration with Emory University, will offer $15 Walmart gift cards to the first 200 people who complete a brief confidential health survey related to their cancer risk. Surveys will be available Monday.
