WATERVILLE — The American Cancer Society Relay For Life of Waterville In Memory of Martha “Marty” Spann seeks volunteers — walkers, cancer survivors, caregivers, community leaders, anyone wanting to make a difference — to organize and recruit fundraising teams, garner community support, coordinate logistics, seek refreshments and prizes, plan entertainment and lend a hand to ensure the success of the 2013 event in your area.
The Relay For Life of Waterville In Memory of Martha “Marty” Spann will be held in the Harold Alfond Athletic Center at Thomas College on Oct. 25-26. The event begins at 6 p.m. Friday and ends at 6 a.m. Saturday.

Local businesses to sponsor the event through donations or in-kind gifts to help off-set the costs of the event are encouraged to participate. If a business is not able to have a team, but would like to donate to the event, contact Melissa at 373-3723 or via email at watervillerelay@gmail.com.
