FARMINGTON — Members of the Farmington Fire Rescue Department will host an open house from 9 a.m. to noon Saturday. Participants can learn about fire prevention, tour the station and pick up helpful materials to guide them and their families on fire prevention.

Sparky the Fire Dog and Smokey the Bear will also be there. A ranger with the Maine Forest Service will talk about wildfire prevention. Bring the children and see what the fire service can do for you.
