Three men were indicted Wednesday by a Franklin County Court grand jury on charges related to a failed drug deal in July.

Juan Colon, 23, of Livermore Falls; Benjamin York, 19, of Jay; and Kahner Dee, 19, of Jay, were each indicted on a charge of class B aggravated assault.

They allegedly attacked a Wilton man with a wooden club because of an argument over a drug deal earlier that day.

The man who was attacked, Jason White, 43, was also charged with criminal threatening. He is accused of throwing a Molotov cocktail — a bottle with fuel in it and a fuse — into the road to scare the three men who are accused of then following White back to Wilton and assaulting him in front of his home.

According to court documents, the drug deal happened in Jay the same day of the attack. An argument stemming from the deal escalated, and White allegedly threw the Molotov cocktail at the men, who then allegedly retaliated.

White was found bleeding in the road by a Wilton police officer and was arrested after he was released from the hospital.
