AUGUSTA — A Witches Brew Fest will take place from 2 to 6 p.m. Saturday at the Augusta State Armory, Western Avenue.

The festival will feature 30 unusual domestic and imported micro-brews and ciders. There will be a free photo booth, a stein-hoisting contest, food and a prize raffle. Doc Frankin & The Brew Steins will provide music. Attendees are encouraged to come in costume to be entered in a raffle for a stay at the Senator Inn & Spa.

Tickets cost $30 in advance and $35 at the door. Tickets are available at Jokas’ Discount Beverage in Waterville, The Liberal Cup in Hallowell, Lisa’s Restaurant in Augusta and online at www.centralmainebrews.com.

Part of the proceeds will benefit the Maine Childrens’ Home in Waterville.
