WATERVILLE — Hall-Dale High School graduate Carylanne Wolfington scored 23 points and grabbed six rebounds as the Colby College women’s basketball team beat Thomas 55-21 in a non-conference game Friday night.

Cony graduate Mia Diplock added six points, six assists and three steals for Colby (3-1). Desi Smith added six points and seven rebounds, while Gabe Donahue had nine rebounds and four assists.

Elizabeth Goodall and Katie McAllister had five points for Thomas.

Maine 66, Long Island University-Brooklyn 50: Ashleigh Roberts scored 19 points as the Black Bears improved to 3-0 with a win in Brooklyn, N.Y.

Lauren Bodine added 15 points for Maine.

Colby 3, Bowdoin 2, OT: Carolyn Fuwa scored the game-winning goal in overtime and Brianne Wheeler had 46 saves as the Mules beat the Polar Bears in Brunswick.

The win was the first in six tries for Colby (1-2-0) at Watson Arena. It was the first game of the season for Bowdoin.

Colby took a 1-0 lead when Kailey Buxbaum scored her first collegiate goal in the first period. The Mules went up 2-0 on a goal by Annie Papadellis. Bowdoin got within one in the third period on a power-play goal by Chelsea MacNeil and tied it at 7:18 left on a goal by Schyler Nardelli.

Colby scored with 20 seconds left when Fuwa picked up a turnover and wristed in a shot.

Beth Findley had 17 saves for Bowdoin.
