GARDINER —The guidance department at Gardiner Area High School will offer confidential appointments with a financial aid professional for students and their parents needing assistance with completing and filing the FAFSA — Free Application for Federal Student Aid. The sessions will begin on Monday, Jan. 6, and will be scheduled for Mondays and Wednesdays as needed. Appointment times will be at 3, 3:45, 4:30 and 5:15 p.m. in the guidance office at the high school. For further information or to schedule an appointment, call the guidance office at 582-3150. Students may also schedule appointments and will be given the necessary paperwork to bring to parents. Services are provided by the Maine Association of School Financial Aid Administrators and the MELMAC Foundation.
