WINSLOW — The Winslow Public Library will offer a “Technology Petting Zoo” to patrons Jan. 23-30. The event will provide hands-on familiarization and training with e-readers and tablets. Each day Samantha Cote, youth services/technology librarian, will offer drop-in tech help 1:30-2:30 p.m. Jared Leadbetter, from the Maine State Library, will visit at 2:30 p.m. Jan. 30 to give an overview of all the devices. Devices include Google Nexus 7 and Apple iPad mini tablets, Nook SimpleTouch (e-reader), Nook HD+ (tablet), Kindle Fire (tablet), and Kindle PaperWhite (e-reader).

Devices are limited, registration is suggested. To register, call 872-1978.
