NEW LONDON, N.H. — Kayla Bronson, of China, was recently inducted into the Colby-Sawyer College chapter of Alpha Chi. The national honor society promotes academic excellence and exemplary character among college and university students.

Grant inducted into

Oracle Honor Society

ITHACA, N.Y. — Caleb Grant, of Bowdoin, was recently inducted into Ithaca College’s Oracle Honor Society.

Grant is majoring in environmental studies in the School of Humanities and Sciences.

Winthrop students

named to dean’s list

BOSTON — Two Winthrop students, Malerie Dooling and Amanda Ouellette, have been named to the spring 2013 semester dean’s list at the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences University.

Each is pursuing a doctor of pharmacy degree.

Lachance awarded

annual scholarship

BEVERLY, Mass. — Hayley Lachance, a student at Endicott College, has been named recipient of the annual Carol McLeod West ‘52 Scholarship.

Lachance is a junior majoring in nursing. She is the daughter of Steven Lachance and Holly Lachance of Farmingdale, Maine, and Augusta, Maine.

Diou-Cass to study

in Cordoba, Spain

SCHENECTADY, N.Y. — Jared Diou-Cass, of Manchester, Maine, is spending Union College’s winter break studying in Cordoba, Spain, focusing on cultural diversity in the context of technology.

Diou-Cass is majoring in liberal arts.
