VASSALBORO — Curt and Emelie Ferland of Vassalboro are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Amber Ferland, originally from Vassalboro, to Nicholas Woodbury, originally from Jefferson, son of Philip and Jennifer Morneault of Jefferson and Brian and Mary Woodbury of Springfield, Va. Both Amber and Nicholas currently reside in Patrick AFB, Fla.
Amber is a 2008 graduate of Erskine Academy, a 2012 graduate of Norwich University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, and is currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Norwich University. She is a Project Engineer for City of Titusville Public Works, Fla. and a private tutor.
Nicholas is also a 2008 graduate of Erskine Academy, a 2012 graduate of Norwich University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Physics. He is a Nuclear Engineer/Physicist for the United States Air Force, Patrick AFB, Fla.
An October 4, 2014, wedding is planned at St. Augustine’s Church in Augusta.
